However, you do need to be well-prepared in order to practice freeriding without running any risks. For this reason, every Sunday from 6 to 7.30pm Livigno organises meetings at the Birrificio (brewery), where freeride experts provide you with all the necessary information about the rules to respect and the materials necessary for your safety, including a shovel, ARTVA avalanche transceiver and probe to carry with you at all times. They’ll also teach you how to check the daily Avalanche Report so you can experience the mountains safely!
