What is it?
Booking Protection by Allianz is an insurance policy that can be purchased at the same time of the online reservation made on the site livigno.eu. It protects your vacation in case of cancellation of the reservation, interruption of the stay or delayed arrival at the chosen facility.
How does it work?
Travelers can choose between two different types of policies:
- Booking Protection (which provides for the reimbursement of the penalty applied by contract for the cancellation of the stay due to: illness, injury or death of the Insured or a family member; impossibility to reach the place of stay following an accident to the means of transport during the journey or due to adverse weather conditions; impossibility to take advantage of the vacations already planned);
- Booking Protection Plus (it provides, in addition to the coverage insured by the Booking Protection" policy, also the coverage of medical expenses during the stay, guaranteeing: medical advice by phone for information and/or medical advice; free sending of a doctor; transport to equipped facilities and medical return to the residence of the Insured; nursing assistance at the residence of the Insured).
